Deliver course materials and homework over WhatsApp — where students actually check

WhatsPortal pushes session notes, assignments, and study materials directly to students on WhatsApp — so the content reaches them on the channel they live on, not the LMS they log into once a week.

You built a learning management system. Your students built a habit of ignoring it.

01

Your LMS has a 20–30% monthly active user rate. The majority of students only access it when pushed — for a test or when they've forgotten something. Course materials sit unread until it's too late.

02

After class, a student means to download the notes and review them. Later, they've forgotten. The tab is closed. The habit never forms. WhatsApp keeps the content front and centre.

03

Sending materials to a WhatsApp group works until it doesn't — the PDF gets buried under 60 messages from students asking questions, and nobody can find anything after two days.

The solution

WhatsPortal delivers course content to every student's WhatsApp directly — organised, timely, and personal.

Post-class content delivery

After each session, WhatsPortal automatically sends that session's notes, slides, or recording link to every enrolled student — personalised, not a group message.

Homework and assignment delivery

Assignments go to each student directly on WhatsApp — with deadline, submission instructions, and any reference materials included in the same message.

Scheduled drip content

For self-paced courses, deliver content on a schedule — Day 1 module, Day 3 module, Day 7 assignment — automatically triggered from the student's enrolment date.

Quick revision cards

Send flashcard-style WhatsApp messages — key formulas, important concepts, vocabulary lists — as micro-content between sessions to reinforce learning.

How it works

Streamlined automation in four simple steps.

  1. 01

    Set up your content schedule

Map each session or module to its materials — PDFs, links, assignments. Build the delivery schedule in WhatsPortal's no-code builder.

  2. 02

    Trigger at the right moment

Connect to your LMS or session scheduling system. Content delivery fires automatically after class ends or on the scheduled drip date.

  3. 03

Students engage with content in their flow

Materials arrive on WhatsApp where students already are. Engagement rates improve. Completion rates follow.

  4. 04

    Sync with student portal

Onboarding details, fee status, and attendance are instantly synced to your LMS or student database.

What our customers say

“We started sending session notes on WhatsApp directly after class. Students told us they actually reviewed them because the message was right there. LMS downloads barely changed but engagement went up.”

FAQ

Common questions about edtech course content delivery

Can I send PDFs, videos, and links via WhatsApp?

Yes. WhatsApp supports PDF attachments, video files (up to a size limit), and rich link previews for external content. Combine them in a single message for a complete session summary.

Can I deliver content to specific batches or course groups separately?

Yes. Tag students by course, batch, or level. Content for the Advanced Mathematics batch goes only to that batch; Foundation batch gets its own materials.

What if a student misses a class? Can they still receive the materials?

Yes. Materials are delivered to all registered students for a session, regardless of attendance. Students who missed class still receive the notes and recording link.
